Tortang Talong

Ingredients

4 eggplants

2 eggs

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4  teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

1/4 cup cooking oil


Cooking Procedure 

1. Grill the eggplant directly over fire in a gas stove until the skin turns to black, wait for few minutes until all parts of are almost burnt.
2. Peel the skin of the eggplant.  Make sure the inside part of eggplant steamed and turns tender.

3. Using fork  flatten the peeled eggplant into the plate, pour some salt and black pepper.  And set aside

4. Beat the egg in a bowl and add the remaining salt, pepper and garlic powder, make sure that its blended well.

5. Dip the eggplant in the egg mixture.

6. Heat oil in a pan,  start frying one side after the other, you can add mixture on the top of the eggplant.  And let it cooked until its gets medium brown.

7.  Arranged the cooked eggplant in a plate. Serve with ketchup.
