Adobong Sitaw with Pork

Adobong Sitaw with Pork

Ingredients

1 bunch string beans (sitaw), cut in 2 inch length
¼ kg pork belly(optional)
½ cup soy sauce
⅓ cup vinegar
1 medium-sized onion, sliced 
4 to 6 cloves garlic, crushed
½ tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp sugar 
1 cup water

Cooking Procedure

1. Heat a frying pan then sear the pork, until turns to brown and oil comes out.
2. When oil comes out of the pork, add garlic and onions then saute for 2 minutes.
3. Add the string beans and saute for for 3 to 5 minutes.

4. Pour-in the soy sauce, vinegar, and water then bring to a boil.
5. Pour the ground black pepper, sugar and stir.
6. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until the pork is tender.
